Yanceyville, NC – It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Lenora Stephens of 1525 Main St. Apt. 202 who passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in the Sovah Health, Danville, Va.
She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of Neuglenn Stephens and Ida Bell Stephens Adams, born September 19, 1939. She was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers, William Stephens, Berkley Stephens, Jimmy Stephens, Freddie Orange, Jessie Adams Jr., John Adams, Sam Adams and Americus Murphy; one sister, Gladys Farrington.
Her survivors are six Brothers, Roosevelt Stephens ( Claire ) of South Carolina, Donnell Stephens of Yanceyville, NC, Alvin Stephens ( Patricia ) of Tennessee, Glen Stephens of Durham, NC, Houston Glenn Stephens of Milton, NC and Johnny Orange of Danville; ten sisters, Linda Chandler ( Clyde ) of Blanch, NC, Brenda Woods ( Rev. Spencer ), Debra Stephens of Providence, NC, Lisa Stephens of Blanch, NC, Melissa Stephens of Blanch, NC, Audrey Harshaw of Blanch, NC, Shinette Stephens of Yanceyville, NC, Joyce Ruffin ( Barry ) of Danville, Va., Glen Dora Lewis ( Ronnie ) of Danville, Va. and Delores McCain of Roxboro, NC; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
