Burlington, NC – It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Betty Lou Taylor Graves of 906 Maple Ave. Burlington, NC, who died Sunday, January 28, 2018 in the Alamance Health Care Rehabilitation Center in Burlington, NC.
She was a native of Yanceyville, NC, the daughter of the late William Hatchett and Lydia Frances Taylor Slade, born February 17, 1947. She was a member of New Birth Baptist Church in Burlington, NC , where she was on the usher board.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Andrew Taylor.
Her survivors are one daughter, Karisa Renee’ Graves Turner ( Samuel ) of Burlington, NC; three brothers, Rudolph Taylor of Greensboro, NC, Orlando “ Peanut” Taylor ( Rhonda ) of Yanceyville, NC and Claude “ Sleepy “ Taylor ( Shonne ) of Tennessee; four sisters, Odella Graves of Yanceyville, NC, Sandra Taylor ( Eddie Dean ) Carolyn Slade Casterlow ( Clyde ) all of Greensboro, NC and Shawn Hall of Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
